Dramatic months lie behind Marianne and Michael.

In March, the 73-year-old folk musician suffered a stroke.

Nevertheless, the duo came to Stefan Mross' this year's final edition of "Always Sundays" - a tearful moment!

Rust – Stefan Mross not only has a close friendship with many of his “Always Sundays” guests, but also one or the other personal moment.

This is also the case with the folk music duo Marianne and Michael, who have accompanied the 46-year-old hit star since his first career steps.

The moderator was visibly touched that the couple came to Rust on Sunday (September 4th) despite the difficult months that lie behind them.

On July 1, 1989, Stefan Mross won the Grand Prix of Folk Music in Linz, Austria, with his Heimwehmelodie - the beginning of a great career that continues to this day.

Marianne and Michael were also present on this groundbreaking day, as the 46-year-old revealed in the final issue of the current "Always Sundays" season: "You kept your fingers crossed for me," said the trumpeter.

Of course, the hit star still reacted emotionally when he moderated the couple, after all, Michael Hartl's health was not good for a long time.

On March 10, 2022, the 73-year-old suffered a stroke and was even in an artificial coma at times.

In view of the "shock news", Stefan Mross could not have imagined that he could now, at the beginning of September, be on stage at "Always Again on Sundays".

But the musician had assured his colleague: "Bua, I'm coming to the last show with my Marianne!"

Poignant moments like this are not uncommon on the ARD show, but the folk musician almost wasn't a part of it: Stefan Mross didn't actually want to moderate "Always Again on Sundays", as he recently revealed.
