Legal Adviser to the Government Gali Beharev Meira said today (Sunday) that the claims of Yossi Kamisa, a former activist in Israel Beitenu, against Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman will be investigated.
"In the last period, the law enforcement system received information attributed to Misa, through a third party, about events that took place over twenty years ago according to the information ethics method," said Beharev Meira's office.
"Now he has also published things on social networks - the information will be considered acceptable."
On Thursday it was announced that according to Yossi Kamisa, Lieberman offered him one hundred thousand dollars to murder a police chief.
Kamisa claimed that he was an assistant to the chairman of Yisrael Beitenu about 20 years ago, while Lieberman himself said that Kamisa was only an activist in the party. Lieberman even accused that opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu was behind the publication of the statements.
