While the country's president Yitzhak Herzog traveled with his wife and an Israeli delegation to a ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the massacre of the athletes in Munich, an unfortunate mistake occurred in the German media which included the Palestinian terrorists in the list of victims.

Israel's ambassador to Germany, Ron Proshaur, protested that the "rbb24" channel included Ashaf terrorists in the list of victims: "shame and disgrace".
Minutes later, the site deleted the news with the headline "17 people were killed in the rescue attempt. We apologize for that."

In the meantime, the President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the President of the country Boji Herzog are participating at this time (Monday) in the state memorial ceremony to mark 50 years in memory of those murdered in the massacre of the athletes at the Munich Olympics.
At a joint press conference for the President of Germany and the President of Israel, German President Steinmeier said: "The relationship between Germany and Israel is unique and this is reflected during your visits to Germany. This is a time of rampant anti-Semitism in Germany and our friendship between German society and Israeli society is more important than ever.
