Ministry spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing today that the Russian forces destroyed 11 tanks, 7 infantry fighting vehicles, 8 other armored vehicles and 9 pickup trucks equipped with heavy machine guns, in the direction of the Nikolaev-Krivoy Rog axis, as a result of the hostilities that took place during the past day. 220 Ukrainian military after the Ukrainian forces continued to try to gain a foothold in certain sections of this direction.

Konashenkov indicated that the Russian operational and tactical aviation, army, missile forces and artillery continued to bombard military installations on the territory of Ukraine, where with high-precision strikes the temporary deployment point of the extremist Nazi organization Kraken near the city of Kharkov was destroyed and more than 30 militants and 10 special vehicles were eliminated.

In the Krasnopoli region of the Donetsk People's Republic, concentrated fire strikes targeted the combat positions of the 81st Air Assault Brigade, killing up to 20 people and wounding more than 50 soldiers of the Ukrainian forces.

Konashenkov pointed out that during the past 24 hours, six command posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were bombed in the towns of Dachnoy and Velika Danilovka in the Kharkov region, Slavyansk and Artyomovsk in the Donetsk People's Republic, Poltavka in the Zaporozhye region and Zelenodolsk in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In addition, five depots of missile weapons, artillery and ammunition were destroyed in Andreivka, parks of the Kharkov region, Dubrovoli and Zelenoy Pole in the Donetsk People's Republic, Nikolaevka in the outskirts of Kherson, and an American-made HIMARS launcher in the town of Timchinki in the Kharkov region.

Konashenkov added that the Russian air defense systems shot down five drones, including one of the Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 over the major passes in the Kharkov region, Novotroitskoye, Yegorovka, Novi Svet and Zylioni Pole in the Donetsk People's Republic. American-made anti-radar HARM, in addition to intercepting 34 shells from the Hemars, Uragan and Olkha rocket launchers over Kazatskoy and Chernobyvka in the Kherson region.

Konashenkov stressed that since the beginning of the special military operation, a total of 287 aircraft, 152 helicopters, 1,877 drones, 372 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,822 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 825 launcher combat vehicles, 3,368 field artillery and mortars, in addition to 5304 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.

On the other hand, Konashenkov noted that despite the presence of IAEA representatives at the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye, the Kyiv regime continues its provocations in order to create a threat of humanitarian catastrophe.

He pointed out that on September 4, the Ukrainian forces launched a drone attack on the territory of the nuclear power plant, and as a result of the use of Russian electronic warfare equipment, the Ukrainian march lost control and fell one kilometer from the plant’s territory. Last night, two missiles were recorded on the city of Energodar. That in total, six artillery shells were fired from the towns of Marganets and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region and units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were suppressed by Russian artillery fire.

Konashenkov emphasized that the radiological situation at the nuclear power plant in Zaporozhye is normal so far.
