Small plane crashes in circus parking lot: two dead - but disaster does not materialize

Apparently, a small plane crashed into a parking lot in Duisburg.
The emergency services are deployed.
Duisburg – A bad accident apparently happened in Duisburg in North Rhine-Westphalia on Sunday.
A small plane crashed in a parking lot near a circus tent.
A police spokesman confirmed that two people died.
Plane crash in Duisburg: "luck in misfortune"
According to dpa information, the accident happened while a show with almost 900 visitors was taking place in the nearby circus tent.
According to the fire brigade, the entrance to the tent was only 50 meters from the crash site.
According to the fire brigade, the music in the circus tent was so loud that the crash of the small machine could hardly or not be heard.
After the event in the circus tent, the head of the fire brigade wanted to inform about the accident.
The police should then escort the spectators out of the tent in an orderly manner to avoid panic and chaos.
Several parked cars caught fire.
On site, the phrase "luck in misfortune" was often heard among the emergency services.
Plane crash in Duisburg: an eyewitness saw the crash coming
The
WDR
reports that it is an ultralight aircraft that crashed into the parking lot for reasons that have not yet been clarified and then burst into flames.
Several cars are said to have caught fire.
The dead are said to be the two occupants of the plane.
An eyewitness reported
to the
WDR that the plane had curved overhead and then suddenly slowed down.
The father of the eyewitness then said: "Hey, I hope he doesn't fall".
At that moment, the plane made a steep downward curve and finally crashed into the parking lot.
