There is a lot of trouble surrounding the Superbloom festival.

The organization has been criticized - also because of a lack of communication, according to the accusation.

  • Criticism of the Superbloom Festival does not stop

: the festival organization faces a lot of criticism the next day – she now reacted on Instagram.

  • Anger about Calvin Harris' performance: Stage closed

: Many fans - despite tickets - cannot attend Calvin Harris' performance.

The Olympic Stadium was closed due to overcrowding.

  • Frustration on all sides

: The first day of the Superbloom Festival in Munich's Olympic Park was anything but smooth.

Visitors and employees complain about the poor organization.

The storm played its part, of course.

Update from September 4th, 11:22 a.m

.: It seems as if the second day of the festival did not start optimally either.

The first visitors are already complaining on Twitter that admission is going too slowly – while the first act started at 11 a.m.

Criticism of the Superbloom Festival does not stop – organizers react

Update from September 4th, 10.45 a.m

.: The second day of the Superbloom Festival in Munich is coming up.

Performances on Sunday, September 4 include David Guetta, Macklemore, Glass Animals and Stromae.

But after the partly violent and persistent criticism of many festival visitors, there is a hangover in the Olympic Park.

Complaints from guests continued to hail on Twitter and Instagram.

Many complain about the poor organization and that it was sometimes impossible to see the desired performances - despite the expensive ticket - because the stages were already full.

For example, a user wrote on Instagram: "I have never experienced such poor organization!

Why did we pay so much when, firstly, we were not allowed to listen to many stars/groups due to storms and when all entrances were blocked for Calvin Harris???”

In the meantime there has also been a reaction to the criticism on the festival website.

The organizers wrote in the story on Instagram: "At the same time, we absolutely understand your criticism and will do everything we can to create a wonderful second day of the festival for you and with you tomorrow".

That brings very little to the people who had only bought a ticket for Saturday, as one user noted directly.

Anger about Calvin Harris' performance: Stage closed – many fans go away empty-handed

Update from September 3, 10:30 p.m

.: The bad news about the Superbloom Festival in Munich does not stop.

Superstar Calvin Harris has been performing in the Olympic Stadium since 9:45 p.m.

At 9:58 p.m. festival-goers received a push notification that the Olympic Stadium would be closed for the rest of the evening.

The official festival account also posted the message on Instagram.

“The Olympic Stage is closed for safety and capacity reasons.

There is no more entry,” it says.

A big annoyance, especially for those who followed other performances until 10 p.m. and then wanted to follow Harris' performance.

This is no longer possible.

First report from September 3rd

: Munich – Finally the time had come: After the Superbloom Festival in the Munich Olympic Park should have taken place in 2020 and 2021, but was postponed due to Corona, it was now on September 3rd, 2022 discharged.

But things did not go smoothly on the stage.

Superbloom Festival under criticism: frustration on all sides

After the two-day festival, there will definitely be great performances by artists.

But not only: At least on Saturday there was some criticism.

But first things first: Things got off to a somewhat chaotic start on Saturday afternoon, with long queues forming in front of the entrance to the festival site in the Olympic Park.

In addition, it was announced at short notice that the ESC star Sam Ryder would not appear – the reasoning was quite nebulous.

From rain to fire: The sky opened up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. – a violent thunderstorm broke over the state capital and flooded the festival.

The program was interrupted, the organizers warned of heavy rain and lightning, and visitors sought shelter.

The food and drink stalls closed during the thunderstorm - a fact that was criticized by many visitors.

They expressed their displeasure on social networks.

Visitor frustration and employee anger: Superbloom Festival under criticism

Fortunately, the thunderstorm over Munich did not last long.

Around 6 p.m. it stopped raining and the sky was even blue in some places.

For a long time, however, it was unclear how things would continue: was the program postponed or was it canceled?

However, many guests at the festival complained about the communication of the festival organization - or about the lack of such.

The answer to the question about the program then came - some of the acts were postponed, some of them fell through - in the truest sense of the word.

Dissatisfaction with the organization was not only felt by the visitors.

A (supposed) employee also vented her anger on Twitter, complaining about a “horror shift” that she had behind her.

On Sunday, September 4th, we continue with the Superbloom Festival in Munich.

Some well-known artists will then still have their performance, and the weather forecast announces sunshine with a blue sky - so the event can hopefully end positively.
