LE FIGARO. - What are the objectives of this new campaign?
Veronique Kanel. -
The idea of this campaign was to highlight tourist service providers who share well-being offers linked to nature.
The latter participates in the care of body and soul.
It was therefore one of the determining criteria for the choice of these activities.
The campaign has just been launched and concerns the fall, but some offers will be valid throughout the rest of the year.
In general, the price of these activities is not very high and they can all be booked online.
In total, we have put forward 51 offers spread over all regions of Switzerland.
Its promotion will be mainly online and especially on social networks.
Yoga in the mountains is one of the activities referenced by Switzerland Tourism.

Why do you want to highlight the outdoors and nature?
Swiss tourism is now part of a dynamic of sustainable development.
In our opinion, it is essential to highlight offers that are linked to nature and well-being.
In this sense, we invite all tourists to slow down their daily rhythm and enjoy the fresh air as much as possible.
It is very important to let nature inspire us, and to appreciate what it has to offer us.

What is the tourism report for the summer of 2022 in Switzerland?
The results for the summer are quite good.
We are witnessing a return of European tourists, and in particular of the French
(in the 1st half of 2022, the Swiss hotel industry recorded a 71.9% increase in overnight stays booked by French people compared to the 1st half of 2021, Ed)
.
From the point of view of their distribution, the mountainous regions are doing better than the towns.
In any case, we are housed in the same boat as other European countries.
