EL PAÍS correspondent Federico Rivas Molina explains the route to follow after the rejection of the new Constitution by Chileans

The rejection of the new Constitution has been roundly imposed in Chile.

With 99.95% of the tables counted, the refusal of the proposed text submitted to a plebiscite has won with 61.87% of the votes.

The approval received 38.13%.

Given this result, President Gabriel Boric called for unity and announced changes in his cabinet to chart the new route that the constituent draft should take.
