35 young men and women from Daraa governorate, united by a love of work and homeland, succeeded in establishing a social cultural team called “Grapes” that aims to contribute to building a promising generation and dedicating the Syrian cultural identity in various forms of literature and enhancing the capabilities and talents of young people and adolescents.

The young team leader in the southern region, Rawan Hamai, said in a statement to SANA Youth Newsletter that the team is constantly working on holding free courses in the fields of programming, developing the talents of reading, writing, drawing, singing, playing, Arabic calligraphy, digital photography, digital journalism, building actors and preparing trainers with courses in communication skills, activities and games. and competitions for children with Down syndrome to encourage their involvement in society.

She added that the team is also working on training those wishing to design, writing and drawing "online" arts and skills, first, and then move on to training on the ground.

The media official in the team, Ammar Al-Jahmani, said: We seek to spread awareness and culture among the youth and support youth talents and develop them, secure an incubating environment for talents, encourage Syrian youth to read, and organize and plan cultural events in all its forms, whether exhibitions, evenings or group books.

One of the young team members, Ahmed Yassin Muhammad Eid Al-Sirwan, stated that he trains young people to recite, sing and act, explaining that we participated in an event called Earth Angels, through which we targeted children with Down syndrome with the aim of bringing joy to their souls and promoting their integration into society.

The young man, Muhammad Al-Radi, one of the team’s members, said that I have skills and talents in writing and recitation, which I teach to those interested in all groups, especially young people and young adults, while the young man, Yaman Al-Asmy, explained that he joined the team recently and has writing skills that he will employ in the service of those interested in literary affairs.
