Strategic advisor Moshe Klugeft announced today (Tuesday) that he will not ultimately serve as an advisor in the election campaign of opposition leader and Likud Chairman Benjamin Netanyahu. This, only a day after being appointed to the position. "Thank you, giving up the position," he wrote in a story he published on Instagram. The vote to come back and work with him.

Half a day after the announcement issued by the Likud, I was told that there was opposition from outside parties and the appointment would be delayed.

I will not enter into wars and I am giving up the position even before I started."

Kelloggft is apparently referring to Yair Netanyahu who, after the public announcement of the appointment issued by the party, demanded that senior officials in Netanyahu's office immediately cancel the appointment. "Returning to clients in Israel and around the world and commentary, I will continue to be a friend of everyone, on the right And on the left, and proud of it," Klugeft continued. "Maybe I've gotten old and become color blind, but we're here together.

At most, a song came out of it."

Kelloggft met on Saturday night for a friendly conversation with the chairman of the state camp, Minister Benny Gantz, a random meeting of the two during a performance by the singer Aviv Gefen at the Yehoshua Gardens in Tel Aviv. Sources privy to the details attribute this meeting - as well as Kelloggofft's past work with former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett And Minister Ayelet Shaked - a "significant contribution" to the opposition of son Netanyahu to his work in the campaign.

Klugeft advised Bennett in 2021 and he is considered to be close to him in the last decade and one of the most prominent campaigners in the political system.

He previously worked with the Jewish Home, "If You Want", in 2020 he served as an adviser to Netanyahu.

The strategic consultant broke into consciousness with Bennett's slogan "something new is beginning" in 2013, and in 2015 it was "stop apologizing".

He also worked with former Knesset member Arel Margalit in the race for the leadership of the Labor Party, where he came up with the "screaming video" in which Margalit shouted "Kibinimet".

In 2018, he secretly advised Meretz chairman Tamar Zandberg in the primary campaign for Meretz's presidency, which caused an uproar and internal criticism in her party. At the same time as his work in Israel, in recent years, Klugeft also engaged in consulting abroad, in Eastern European countries.

Among other things, he previously advised on campaigns in Romania, in the presidential elections of Georgia and Kosovo, to the Chancellor of Austria and the Prime Minister of Greece.
