The head of the Ukrainian city of Energodar administration, Alexander Volga, announced that fuel oil had leaked into the canal that supplies water to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant as a result of the Ukrainian bombing.
Sputnik news agency quoted Volga as telling reporters: The diesel tank was broken, which caused fuel to leak into the canal that supplies the station with water, and experts are currently studying the scene of the accident in order to take the necessary measures.
And the Russian Defense Ministry announced earlier today that Ukrainian forces fired 3 shells during one day near the Zaporozhye plant and one of them exploded near the No. 2 power unit.
