Interactive and dialogue meetings at the exhibition (Your Eye is Your Specialty) at the University of Damascus

Through interactive and dialogue meetings, the third edition of the “Your Eye is Your Specialization” exhibition, which is organized by the National Union of Syrian Students in Universities, continues with the acceptance of differentiation requests to introduce successful students in the secondary certificate to the specializations available in universities and institutes, in addition to answering their inquiries regarding the differentiation mechanism.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, confirmed in a statement to the media after his tour with the President of Damascus University, Dr. Muhammad Osama Al-Jabban, and the President of the National Union of Syrian Students, Darin Suleiman, in the exhibition “Your Eye is Your Specialization” at the Faculty of Law at Damascus University. University that suits their desires and the degrees they obtained in order to continue their educational attainment there, as well as informing them of the differences between specializations, the nature of the academic courses and the opportunities for its graduates in the labor market later.

Minister Ibrahim called on the students not to rush when writing their desires in the differentiation card so that they do not have to modify later and to choose their true desire that suits their preferences, noting the efforts of graduate students who supervise the exhibition pavilions and their method of explaining information to new students and answering their inquiries

As well as with lectures given by college professors and interactive meetings and their role in guiding students towards the right path.

A number of students expressed the importance of the “Your Eyes on Your Specialization” initiative, as it is an opportunity to comprehensively learn about the academic branches, whether in universities or institutes, and to form a preconceived idea for us before choosing the academic branch and registering the preferences of the differentiation form, where the student Hanan Tawisha, who obtained a secondary certificate, referred to the “scientific branch.” She indicated that she would like to study one of the engineering disciplines, and noted the diversity and richness found in all the exhibition wings in terms of graduation projects, illustrative models, and samples of academic courses.

The “Your Eye is Your Specialization” exhibitions will continue until the eighth of this September and start daily from ten in the morning until three in the afternoon in Damascus University, Faculty of Law, in Suwayda, the Cultural Center - Exhibition Hall, Daraa, Faculty of Education, Quneitra, Faculty of Education, Aleppo University, Faculty of Law, and Al-Baath University, Faculty of Sciences. Tishreen University, the Central Library, Al Furat University, the Faculty of Agriculture, Al-Hasakah, the Faculty of Law, Hama University, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Tartous University, the Faculty of Economics.
