After two years of absence due to Covid, the IFA Berlin back-to-school show has resumed its right of citizenship and will close its doors this Tuesday.

Manufacturers of electronics and household appliances have once again come to highlight their latest devices.

Clearly, all the innovations and other gadgets that will be available just in time for the commercial high point of the holiday season.

In the shadow of agreed range renewals, some of them caught our attention in the aisles of the show and seem predicted for a bright commercial future and above all for a form of validation: being copied and improved by competitors.

The device that shaves, trims and brushes teeth

The Multishape relies on a single motor to operate multiple functions.

The Japanese giant Panasonic was well inspired and in tune with the times with its Multishape, a modular device that wants to replace mowers, razors and even electric toothbrushes.

Everything is based on a single battery capable of delivering enough power to perform several functions.

No more need to carry several devices and their different chargers, the user will only have to change the tip of the main unit, according to the need and without the bulk.

A total of five heads are marketed and will be more easily replaceable than sending the assembly to after-sales service.

"It also means fewer lithium batteries to recycle", highlights the manufacturer who wants to become a serious player in the circular economy.

The TV screen at the end of your nose

These connected glasses broadcast content from a compatible device such as an external screen.

Chinese TV maker TCL has perfected its Nxtwear S, glasses that act as an external screen for a home or portable video game console.

Under its false air of sunglasses, the device hides two micro Oled screens of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

No virtual reality or augmented reality here: "It's like seeing a large TV at a distance of 4 m in terms of resolution", assures a demonstrator from the stand.

No battery problem, a USB-C cable provides power while streaming video and audio from another device.

For example, we tried a series or a video game on the PS5.

Our grip left a solid first impression but to see how the eyes react after several hours of screen which dry them out.

Battery-free remote control

This universal remote control is recharged with solar energy or with the Wifi waves of the house.

Released discreetly two years ago, the solar-powered remote control SolarCell Remote will equip more and more models of Samsung, the biggest seller of televisions in France.

A small solar panel has been added to it to avoid passing through the electrical outlet box.

Better, it will recharge in its new version thanks to… the radio waves of your wi-fi router.

The Korean manufacturer does not specify how it works or how much this technology is capable of recharging the battery of the zappette.

The biggest announcement of the show?

These charging technologies without traditional electricity are now open to other remote control manufacturers.

In the absence of alternative energy, you can always recharge this remote control with the USB-C port which has not yet been completely abandoned.

The wireless speaker with immersive light

The Fidelio FS1 speaker follows the rhythm of music with light effects.

Discreet when switched off, the Fidelio FS1 catches the eye when switched on.

Its Dutch manufacturer, Philips TV, has extended its Ambilight immersive light technology – present on its high-end TVs – to this sleekly designed speaker.

Its 8 LEDs are synchronized like a compatible television or to the random rhythm of music.

This gives pleasant and fairly precise dynamic lighting.

The enclosure incorporates a tweeter, a speaker dedicated to the midrange and another for the bass.

It works independently, in stereo or blends into a multiroom system with a soundbar.

It will do wonders on a white wall.

The ultra-foldable scooter

Riley's RS3 presents itself as an ultra-compact folding scooter because it can be folded over its entire structure from the platform to the handlebars.

After a few manipulations, it can be slipped into a bag without any problems.

Restricted to 25 km / h as required by law, it still weighs 14 kg and will be marketed this fall at 899 euros.
