Magdalena Ruíz Guiñazú died at the age of 87.
The renowned Argentine journalist is remembered for her extensive and outstanding career, which earned her multiple awards, in addition to being a member of the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons (Conadep) during the presidency of Raúl Alfonsín.
