Today, members of the Damascus Fire Brigade put out a fire that broke out in a restaurant tent and a shop tent within the (Al-Khair Khairak) festival in the old fairgrounds in Damascus.
Brigadier General Daoud Amiri, commander of the Damascus Fire Brigade, said at dawn today, in a statement to SANA reporter, that as soon as he received a report of a fire in two tents within the (Al-Khair Khairak) festival in the old fairground, a group from the Damascus Fire Brigade headed to the place at maximum speed and worked to extinguish and cool it.
Brigadier Amiri stated that the damage caused by the fire was limited to material, and no injuries were recorded.
