Discreetly installed at the end of an interior courtyard or behind opaque windows in premises overlooking the street, these companies without storefronts or signs, in front of which the incessant ballets of bicycles or scooters take place, provoke the exasperation of local residents and local traders, who denounce unfair competition.
But now these “dark stores” are under threat, particularly in Paris.
