Gone are the days when the Hauts-de-Seine benefited, like the other departments bordering the capital, from soaring real estate prices.

Over the past year, the prices of apartments for sale fell by 0.5%, while they increased by 0.8% in Val-de-Marne and by 3.1% in Seine-Saint- Dennis over the same period.
