A document describing the "nuclear capability of a foreign country" was confiscated from the home of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump - this was reported tonight (Wednesday) in the Washington Post.

The report, in which sources familiar with the matter were quoted, did not specify the specific country, as well as whether it is friendly or hostile to the United States.

According to the Washington Post, FBI agents found more than 11,000 government documents and photographs during the raid on Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate on August 8.

According to the newspaper, some of the seized documents detail top secret operations in the United States that require special clearances, beyond top secret classification.

The Washington Post noted that some of the documents are so restricted that even some of the most senior officials in the Biden administration were not authorized to view them.

The US Department of Justice is investigating Trump on suspicion that he violated the country's espionage law and hid classified materials in his home.

On Monday, a federal judge agreed to Trump's request to appoint an outside reviewer of documents seized in the FBI search, a move that could delay the Justice Department's criminal investigation.
