The whole of Inning becomes a flea market mile

Three inningers organize "experimental project" for Saturday, September 17th.

First inning local flea market with around 40 households.

Inning – Christine Hartwig and Luise Rose know each other from the time when the children were in kindergarten.

All teenagers now.

With Christine Hartwig's neighbor Katrin Bauer, they form a trio "that likes to get things done".

Luise Rose, the real multitasker, Katrin Bauer, the die-hard Wacken fan, and Christine Hartwig, whose walk-in ghost train for Halloween has long been known in the neighborhood and who is also a passionate flea market visitor.

She was particularly taken with the district flea markets in Munich.

And when the popular kindergarten flea markets no longer took place during Corona and their own cellars filled more and more, it was obvious that the three took matters into their own hands.

But this time large, namely distributed over the entire local area.

Inninger local flea market is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Around 40 households have already registered, and the three friends are looking forward to more participants from Inning.

Whether old pots, decorations, bed linen, clothing or skis - anyone can set up and offer what they don't need and want to sell in their own garden, in their own garage or in front of their own front door.

"And you get to talk to your neighbors in the process." That's also what excites the three friends about the idea.

"You get into gardens that you wouldn't otherwise get into," says Christine Hartwig happily.

Street flea markets are already enjoying success in Gilching and Weßling

Street flea markets like this are also a success in Gilching, just like in Weßling.

The initiators in Gilching have already invited three times – with a growing number of participants and visitors.

"It's a bit stupid that it happens exactly when the Wiesn beer is tapped," admits Christine Hartwig.

But the fact that the holidays were only just over and that everyone was still relaxed spoke in favor of the appointment.

"It's an experimental project," says the 52-year-old, "it would be cool if the whole community got together like this." A bit of "social live" would look good on Inning.

"And maybe people will come from somewhere else." In any case, she promises a lot of fun, the organization alone was worth it.

"All three of us like to do that.

Now all the others have to do is pull along.”

The attraction of the flea market lies in the spaciousness spread over the entire village

Anyone interested in selling can register at fleamarket.inning@web.de with their name and address.

Unlike the usual flea markets, the appeal of this flea market lies in its spaciousness throughout the village: visitors can stroll leisurely through Innings streets and snag one or the other bargain.

Since the beginning of this month, at the beginning of September, there has been an overview map with all participating households for the flea market guests on the Internet.

Currently, the 40 or so red flags at the participant addresses are still getting lost.

The aim is that at the end a lot more red is displayed.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., "officially approved by the community," assures Luise Rose (43).
