They find the body of a missing Latina in San Antonio and fear a serial killer

"The community has taken up arms, people are scared," explains a neighbor in Texas. Three other women were found dead and one more is missing.


The authorities of the county of Bandera, on the outskirts of the Texan city of San Antonio, found this Wednesday the body of Norma García Espinoza, 63, the third woman found dead in that area in recent months;

Some neighbors are frightened by the possibility that there is a serial killer behind these deaths, according to the local NBC News station in San Antonio, and have protested to the Sheriff's Office for the apparent lack of progress in this case.

A private detective hired by the Tompkins family lamented that the authorities waited until Saturday to organize a search team when the young woman has been missing for months.

"I'm not sure why they hadn't. I've contacted the Sheriff's Office multiple times. The detective hasn't called me back and neither has the sheriff," private investigator Dennis Fitzgerald said, according to the police. local station KSAT.

Tomkins was last seen alive in April at the Medina Lake country club.

He was wearing pink tennis shoes.

"If we find those pink sneakers, we'll be about 100 yards from finding her," Fitzgerald said.
