Motorcyclist crashes into oncoming traffic and dies – chaplains look after eyewitnesses to the accident

A motorcyclist got into oncoming traffic in the Hof district and crashed into two cars.
Despite immediate help, the man died at the scene of the accident.
Hof - A fatal accident occurred in Schwarzenbach an der Saale (Hof district in Upper Franconia) on Wednesday, September 7th.
The police said in a press release.

According to this, a 66-year-old drove his moped towards Schwarzenbach an der Saale at around 5:20 p.m. and came – shortly before the junction with Baumersreuther Weg – into oncoming traffic for reasons that are still unclear.
It crashed into the oncoming Renault Zoe of a 28-year-old man who was trying to swerve.
The impact threw the motorcycle into the Mazda behind it.
According to the police, the motorcyclist died "despite the fastest first aid" at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the Renault was unharmed.

Fatal motorcycle accident in the district of Hof – pastors look after eyewitnesses
The route was completely closed for around four hours while the accident was being recorded.
The total property damage is estimated at over 10,000 euros.
An expert was called in by the public prosecutor's office in Hof, and the fire brigade also supported the work of the police with several emergency services.

Two bikers stopped because one of them was stung by a bee. Shortly thereafter, the motorcyclist lost control - and died. First responders pulled a motorcyclist out from under the car after an accident. However, the 30-year-old died in hospital from his injuries.
