Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu today (Thursday) addressed the criticism of the "Bibi-Ba" - an armored truck with transparent windows, in which Netanyahu intends to travel around the country in the coming weeks, in an attempt to stimulate the Likud territory and increase the turnout in the polls that fell in the previous elections.
Netanyahu launched his field campaign last night with a truck tour in the neighborhoods of Yad Eliyahu, Kfar Shalem and Kafir in East Tel Aviv, but the launch provoked ridicule from his opponents, as well as internal criticism in Likud about the security partitions that separate him and the people on the street. Netanyahu published another video today, in which he referred to the truck and said "I must obey the security forces, but no armored glass will separate my heart from your heart."
"Must obey the security forces."

In recent weeks, there has been unrest among members of Knesset and heads of Likud branches, who are angry at their exclusion from the focus of the campaign and the management of budgets, and at Netanyahu's appointments to officials and chiefs of staff, who were filled by associates and loyalists of Netanyahu who are known from the demonstrations of support for him, instead of members of Knesset and veteran activists.
The "Bibi-Ba" project, which, according to a publication by journalist Michael Shemesh in Kan 11, will cost about NIS 700,000 per two months, has strengthened the criticism that Netanyahu is abandoning traditional field activities in favor of a "one-man show", according to a senior Likud official.
Two other Likud officials said that the partitions that separate Netanyahu and the public he came to meet are "hallucinations".

Shortly after the publication, anonymous text messages were distributed to Likud supporters that read: "700 thousand shekels and the area has no money? Bibi, you are a shame for the party, you blackmailed us to the end."
This is the latest in a series of anonymous messages that have been circulating in recent weeks, attacking Netanyahu with unusual severity.
Since the Likud primaries last month, sediments have remained between Netanyahu and long-time senior officials in the party, led by David Bitan.
It is not clear whether the messages are sent only by Netanyahu's opponents in Likud, or whether external political opponents are also trying to inflame the spirits and join the celebration.
The chairman of the state camp, Defense Minister Benny Gantz, also mocked the partitions yesterday and in a video he posted on Twitter under the title "Bibi, not like that", Netanyahu is seen waving to his supporters through the glass partitions, and immediately after him Gantz is surrounded by hugs from supporters and activists. Beish Atid shared a photo which was taken from an overhead view of one of Netanyahu's stations where only a few dozen supporters are observed and they wrote: "This is everyone who came to see Netanyahu through the glass curtain in south Tel Aviv."
