Just last March, CD Projekt Red announced that it was developing the fourth game in The Witcher series, and now CEO Adam Kicinski indicates that the company is interested in developing several more titles in the series, perhaps even a new trilogy.
Kicinski remained tight-lipped during an investor meeting this week about its status The financial of the company there he stated: "We are interested in developing more than one new game in the series.
The first three games were the first saga, and now we are still in the early stages of production of the first game in the new saga of The Witcher."

Currently, the details of the plot or the release date of the game have not yet been given, but CDPR has previously hinted that if a new game in The Witcher series is opened, the plot will not focus on the character of Geralt.
The revealed teaser image shows us a medallion that is not a reference to the witcher school that Geralt came from, so we conclude that the new plot will focus on a different witcher.
During the announcement of the new game last March, CDPR confirmed its collaboration with Epic Games and the use of the Unreal 5 game engine. Both companies stated that this collaboration will not lead to the new game in the series being exclusive to the Epic Games Store platform on PC, and it will also be released to the Steam platform.
The Witcher trilogy was a massive and international success and helped place the company in the league of the industry's greats.
For many, the third game in the series is considered to be one of the works of the decade that helped redefine the open world gaming experience.
During the last two years, the company received negative reviews for the problematic and bug-filled launch of Cyberpunk 2077/
CDPR did correct most of the glitches and problems in the game, but it is still a bad taste left by fans who did not necessarily forgive the company.
One can only hope that the company has learned from past mistakes, and the partnership with Epic Games and the new game engine will help CDPR develop and polish The Witcher 4 definitively before launch.
