The period before the holidays always makes you want to upgrade the house, renovate, change, stock up on beautiful, festive and new items for the holidays and the hospitality that comes with them or for appropriate gifts for those who will host you.
It is also a season of transition, and the change in the weather and the collections that bring with them new and fresh trends make you want to take out the old for the new.
In short, everyone is now buying things for the home.
Recently we noticed that all kinds of chains, not necessarily from the field of home design, have started to add to their websites departments of housewares and even small pieces of furniture, complementary accessories - and the prices are very surprisingly good.
Did you know, for example, that while you are shopping online at the supermarket, you can add to the basket, alongside the milk, bread and vegetables, also items that will madly upgrade your living room or bedroom?
Even an order from a Pharm chain can develop into a new armchair.
So for the benefit of those who still don't know and haven't discovered it, here is a partial list of some of the surprising websites that you didn't know you could purchase nice items for the home on, as well as some examples of particularly valuable items that we managed to "fish" there:

A half-free chain already opened the "second floor" a few years ago, which includes a fairly wide range of housewares, textiles and more.
We recently noticed that some of the items also appear on the online site.
What did we like?

Shufersal has had the Gala Home brand for several years, under which the chain sells various items for the home, including dishes, towels and linens, pots and more.
But in the last year the variety has expanded significantly and now also includes wooden bowls that look amazing, stools and the like, straw baskets in various sizes, coffee tables, lampshades, macrame wall decorations and more.
Here too you will find these items at significantly lower prices than what you are used to seeing in design stores and even in home chains.

Urbanica
The website of the accessible clothing chain Urbanica has a category of home products that puts the price literally on the front.
The category is called "home decoration up to 180 NIS" and indeed, you will not find any item in it whose price exceeds this amount, and to be honest most of them are very far from it.
What did we like?
The most beautiful storage accessories at very attractive prices: colorful plastic baskets, woven fabric baskets and glass and plexiglass jars for organizing kitchen or bathroom cabinets.
And also metal baskets with an industrial and clean look, straw baskets, rattan trays and beautiful vases.
There are also quite a few decorative items that will help you design a sweet children's room.

The next time you place an order for diapers, deodorant, face cream and toothpaste, pay attention to the "for the home" category, you will find there furniture items such as sofas, armchairs and coffee tables, as well as carpets, artificial flower pots and more.
The prices of the small furniture items are mostly around 200-600 NIS, while the sofas (some of them also open into a bed) are around 1,000-2,000 NIS and the delivery is free.
