Great efforts are being made to restore Al Karama Club to its former glory and to compete vigorously for local championship titles, as it was in previous football seasons.
In a statement to SANA, the head of Al Karama Club, Khaled Raad, said that the club suffered a financial crisis that affected the technical levels of all the games played in it, as the club’s financial deficit amounted to one billion and 600 million Syrian pounds, and steps began to bring the club back to the right track through well-thought-out plans for all the club’s games and joints.
Raad added: We have made qualitative contracts for cadres and players in the football team to raise the technical level, in addition to relying mainly on the club’s sons, expecting to compete this season in the Premier League for the first three places, pointing to the great efforts being made currently by technical and administrative cadres for the game of basketball in order to raise the level .
Raad pointed out that building stadiums and advanced academies and continuously supplying the club’s teams with talent is one of the priorities of the administration’s work, which immediately sought to establish training stadiums, which are expected to be completed within less than a month, in addition to starting work on the club’s new facility in preparation for the establishment of training stadiums in it.
With regard to the club’s investments, the club’s president explained that the administration is striving to expand the investment base through the optimal investment of its facilities and thus increase the club’s revenues, which contributes to the development of the level of games, as the introduction of 4 new halls overlooking the club’s training facility is being studied to invest, indicating that the amount sponsored by it About two months ago, the administration exceeded one billion Syrian pounds, which was divided between the payment of previous salaries for football and basketball players, new contracts for the current season, and the establishment of stadiums, knowing that the club’s treasury has not received any revenue to date, whether from its investment blocks or from supporters.
Raad called on supporters and fans to cooperate with the administration to return the club to its glory and its usual place, calling on the club’s fans to show civilized encouragement and not to cause the club with penalties and violations that may harm it financially or by depriving it of its support and support for its teams in matches.
