According to the 9-day weather forecast of the Observatory, it is expected that there will be sunshine on the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow and part of the "chasing the moon" the next day, but there will be a few showers, and the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival will be mostly cloudy, which may affect the viewing of the moon.
If you want to admire the moon, tonight may be the best time, and you should also pay attention to the weather conditions when you go out in the next two days.
The Observatory also predicts that from next Monday (12th), Hong Kong will be extremely hot for five consecutive days, and the maximum temperature in the urban area is expected to reach 34 to 35 degrees. Among them, Sheung Shui has a chance to record a high temperature of 38 degrees for two consecutive days.

"Plum Blossom" is expected to be upgraded to a strong typhoon
The Observatory also pointed out that at 12 noon, the severe tropical storm "Plum Blossom" gathered about 850 kilometers south of Okinawa, and was expected to move northwestward at a speed of about 14 kilometers per hour, generally moving toward the waters east of Taiwan.
The Observatory estimates that Meihua will linger in the waters east of Taiwan in the next few days and gradually intensify. It is expected to intensify into a typhoon tomorrow, and there is a chance that it will intensify to a severe typhoon in the next two days.
