Open Monument Day: Walk brings together three museums

The Museum Erding and the Museum Franz Xaver Stahl are also involved.
Erding – The Erding Museum and the Franz Xaver Stahl Museum are taking part on Sunday, September 11th, with an open day on the nationwide Open Monument Day.
The motto: “Culture Track.
A case for monument protection”.
Admission is free.
Under the motto "Three museums in one day", the new theme trail "The Erdinger Museumsrunde.
Rural life, art and urban history” by the “Erding Moves” working group.
The start is at 12.30 p.m. at the Farmhouse Museum, Taufkirchener Straße 24. There, in the presence of District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer and Erding’s Deputy Mayor Petra Bauernfeind, the museum directors Heike Kronseder and Harald Krause as well as Walfried Seßler from the working group will present the new flyer.

After a short introduction by Nicole Tietze, technical supervisor of the Farmhouse Museum, the second stop after a short walk is a joint visit to the Steel Museum, Landshuter Straße 31. There, at 2 p.m., Kronseder will give an insight into the artists' house and the artists' garden.
Then it goes on to the third station, the Museum Erding on Prielmayerstrasse.
Krause offers a small tour there at 3 p.m.
The distance from the Farmhouse Museum via the Steel Museum to the Museum Erding is around 1.8 kilometers, the return from Museum Erding to the Farmhouse Museum is 1.3 kilometers.
Parking is available at the farmhouse museum.
The walk takes place in all weather conditions.
Museum Erding: Insights into the permanent exhibition from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Erding Museum itself offers varied insights into the permanent exhibitions on the history of the city, archaeology, art and artists, everyday life, bell foundry and Loderer crafts as well as selected works by Rudolf L. Reiter.
The museum café is open.
Cakes, chocolate specialties and cold and warm drinks are offered.
There is a painting corner for children.
From 2 to 5 p.m. there are short guided tours through the Biedermeier house, the studio, the former living quarters, the artists’ garden and the listed air-raid shelter from the late 1930s.
When the weather is nice, you can linger in the artist garden under the old fruit trees.
