On the deck of the ferry, lulled by the steady purr of the engine, silhouettes at the tempo of summer – straw hats, leather Spartans and flowery tunics in shimmering colors – discuss.

No, we toured the Cyclades, but we didn't know this one.

Barely an hour from the port of Lavrio, Kéa (Tzia, in Greek) cultivates its discretion.

At the turn of the 2000s, few visited it.

Aristos' tavern was an address in the confidence of a few Athenians, leaving the pleasant neighborhoods of Kolonáki and Vouliagméni for a Sunday, for a fishing trip followed by an astakomakaronada (spaghetti with lobster).

Its proximity to Athens and its beautiful countryside have made Kéa the favorite of a few aesthetes – many of whom are French.

They built elegant houses there to retire to.
