The Israeli occupation’s seizure of more occupied Jerusalem lands is accelerating daily to implement colonial annexation plans, besiege the city and separate it from its Palestinian surroundings, threatening to displace thousands of Jerusalemites in a new war crime.

In a report published today on its website, the National Office for Defending Land and Resisting Settlements stated that the occupation plans to establish 3,412 settlement units to expand a settlement built east of occupied Jerusalem on an area of ​​2,100 dunums, which threatens to displace more than 3,000 Palestinians living in villages. (Jabal al-Baba, Wadi al-Jamal, Bir al-Maskoub, Wadi Snisel, and Abu George), in addition to separating the northern and southern West Bank, closing the eastern region of Jerusalem completely, and besieging the towns of Anata, al-Tur and Hizma with settlements.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities announced another plan to establish 900 settlement units to expand a settlement built on the lands of the towns of Shuafat, Lifta and Beit Hanina in Jerusalem, while demolishing agricultural and commercial facilities and homes in the towns of Walaja, Anata and Jabal Mukaber in Jerusalem and forced Palestinians to demolish their homes in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque They demolished agricultural and commercial facilities and filled a well in the town of Al-Khader, near Bethlehem. Warnings were given to demolish several houses in the town and in Deir Sharaf village in Nablus. They also bulldozed areas of the lands of Sinjel town in Ramallah and closed the entrance to the village of Beit Ainun in Hebron.

The report stated that settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, seized areas of the lands of the village of Birin to establish a new settlement outpost and stormed the Khalil al-Lawz and Khallet al-Nakhla areas in Bethlehem and Sinjel in Ramallah, and attacked Palestinians and their property. In the town of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, they prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands in the town of Kafr Ad-Deek in Salfit and in the Al-Auja area in Jericho, while they cut main roads linking Nablus, Tulkarm and Ramallah, obstructing Palestinian traffic and assaulting them.
