Yesterday (Friday) in the morning, the police received a report from a hospital in Jerusalem about a violent incident, during which a resident of the city attacked and ran over his wife, who subsequently needed medical treatment at the hospital.
The police investigation revealed that, according to the suspicion, a conflict arose between the husband and his wife during a trip in northern Jerusalem.
At one point the suspect removed the woman from the vehicle, but continued to chase her down the street.
He attacked and strangled her, then got into his car and ran her over.
The woman was injured and taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police officers from Sheft Station in northern Jerusalem located the suspect in the act, a resident of Kfar Akeb in his 30s, and he was arrested.
Tonight (Saturday) the suspect will be brought to a hearing on the extension of his detention at the Magistrate's Court in the capital.
