Worrying about safety: two giant birds escaped from a truck in the north (barges)

Two birds of the "mother" variety, which were being transported from the central region to the north, escaped from a vehicle today (Sunday) and searches for them continue at this time.

The large Australian birds, which do not fly, made their way from the living space of the Hadassah youth village to the living space of the Karmiel municipality and were recently seen near the Fouridis intersection, near Zichron Ya'akov, as they walk in a panic between the vehicles on the intercity road.

Dr. Riad Badran, director of the Union of Cities for Veterinary Medicine "Shomron" has not yet been notified of this. "They took it very hard with us," told Walla Ami Magen, director of the Hadassah Na'orim youth village, "we thought that after decades of being with us, a large space is suitable for them more and we sent them on their way with a licensed carrier and all the permits required for transportation, and then we received the message that on the way they somehow managed to escape and here they are very concerned about their safety." He said that teams from the educational institution and the Nature and Parks Authority are still working in the field to try and find them.

At the end of the week, a 47-year-old driver was summoned for questioning, after he was caught driving carelessly near Beer Sheva and 11 sheep were found in the trunk.

First, passers-by reported the driver of the car, and when the patrol officers arrived in the area, they saw the car swaying, swerving to the curb and almost overturning.

Upon inspection of the vehicle's cargo, the sheep were found, which had been transported in violation of the law.

The policeman booked the driver and issued a summons for reckless driving.

The inspectors of the Ministry of Agriculture's enforcement unit arrived at the scene, fined the suspect and also summoned him for questioning.
