After the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the new King Charles III visited.
Buckingham Palace on Friday, where a number of mourners had gathered.
There the monarch was given a warm welcome.
Overwhelmed by her emotions, a woman even kissed the 73-year-old.
London – The death of Queen Elizabeth II touched not only the British, the sympathy is huge worldwide.
A number of mourners also gathered in front of Buckingham Palace, the residence of the British monarch in London.
They got their new King Charles III there on Friday afternoon (September 9th).

There were touching scenes in the heart of London as the 73-year-old walked through the crowd to the palace gates and received numerous expressions of condolence.

A fan surprised King Charles III.
then quite effusively: Janny Assiminios kissed the monarch on the cheek while he shook hands with those gathered one after the other.
"I couldn't believe I saw him in front of me," Assiminios said shortly afterwards in a
CNN interview

She loves and appreciates the British royal family, she explained further.

Royals fan gets kissing permission from King Charles III

For the spontaneous kiss she gave King Charles III. when he arrived at Buckingham Palace, she obtained the monarch's permission in advance, as she herself reported: "I said to him: 'May I kiss you?' And he said, 'Well, yes.' So I grabbed him. I'm very happy that I got to see and kiss him."

A second fan also kissed the king – but this time on the hand.
The monarch was given a warm welcome, with the crowd chanting the words 'God Save The King' over and over again.
King Charles III
must now succeed Queen Elizabeth II, but the coronation could still be months away.
