Queen Elizabeth II was able to count on the support of her family even in her final moments.

However, Meghan Markle was not welcome there.

Balmoral – On the deathbed of Queen Elizabeth II († 96, 2022) her beloved children and grandchildren wanted to say goodbye to the British regent, but not everyone was welcome.

The then Prince Charles (73) is said to have rebuffed Meghan Markle (41) in clear words.

Shortly after the palace announced on Thursday afternoon (September 8) that Queen Elizabeth II's doctors were worried about her health, several members of the royal family rushed to the dying monarch.

According to the "Mirror", the then Crown Prince Charles (73), his wife Camilla (75) and Princess Anne (72) arrived in time, other royals, including Meghan Markle, were denied a personal farewell.

While the brothers William (40) and Harry (37), who arrived separately and without their wives, only arrived in Balmoral after the death of the Queen, Meghan stayed away from the country estate.

The 41-year-old, who had already traveled to Europe for several appointments with her husband at the beginning of September, was absent from the sad family gathering.

Charles is said to have expressly ordered her absence.

As "The Sun" reports, Charles banned his youngest son, Prince Harry, from traveling with Meghan to the Queen in Scotland.

"Charles told Harry that it was not right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a deeply sad time.

an insider confided in the magazine.

During the conversation, Charles is said to have emphasized that only the "closest family" should be present.
