Nearly 3 hours will have been necessary for Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige, respectively presidents of the Lucasfilm and Marvel studios, to present all the novelties of the coming months concerning the
Star Wars
and Marvel franchises.
In all, no less than fifteen new projects will see the light of day until 2023!
An overabundance which should however delight the fans whose expectations will indeed be fulfilled.

Credit where credit is due, the
Star Wars
universe continues and expands to expand new horizons.
And if projects in terms of cinema are currently at a standstill, the same is not true with the series which abound at breakneck speed on the Disney+ platform.
It is the
Andor
series which will open the ball from September 21st.
Diego Luna reprises his role as Cassian Andor from the movie
Rogue One
.
The story takes place five years earlier at the beginning of what will become the rebellion against the Empire.
New arrivals in spades
Another spin-off series,
Ahsoka will
develop the character played by Rosario Dawson in The Mandalorian.
Anakin Skywalker's former padawan, who appeared in the Clone Wars animated series, is now seeking her place in the universe in the face of the omnipotence of the Empire.
Few things have filtered from this series which will arrive in 2023 on Disney + but the excitement felt during the presentation at D23 was very palpable.
As was the announcement of the latest
Skeleton Crew
series which will see a band of young adventurers explore a new side of the Star Wars universe under the leadership of a new kid: Jude Law.
The broadcast is also scheduled for 2023 on the Disney platform.
The return of the Star Wars darling
The Mandalorian season 3 on Disney+.
@Disney
Despite these announcements, the roster of applause went to fan- and critic-favorite Star Wars series:
The Mandalorian
.
With its almost complete cast on the stage of the Anaheim Convention center, season 3 had the crowd salivating.
And the presence in the images of the trailer of Grogu, aka baby Yoda, is not for nothing.
Season 3 is in production and should arrive next spring on Disney+.
The Willow poster, on Disney+.

Finally, we will also note the long-awaited sequel to
Willow
which will be available on November 30 on Disney+.
Warwick Davis, the mythical interpreter of the character, was on stage to present the new actors who will accompany him in this adventure, 35 years after the theatrical release of the first film.
The images promise mountains and wonders to the first hour fans as well as to the new ones.
Animations that promise
In the animated series department, we will be pleased to find season 2 of Bad Batch which will feature the continuation of the adventures of the coolest clone squad in the galaxy, from January 4, 2023. Latest novelty, Tales of the Jedi should delight Clone Wars nostalgics since we will find Anakin, Obi Wan, Ahsoka, Dooku, Windu, Yoda and all the others there in new and promising stories.
The series will be broadcast from October 26 on Disney+.

Loki returns, wars are brewing
Marvel has not been outdone with six new projects to come and a season 2 for
Loki
, the franchise's first series to see a sequel.
Coming from England where he is currently filming, Tom Hiddelston, the brilliant interpreter of Loki, expressed his enthusiasm alongside Owen Wilson and the rest of the cast.
The first images show Loki still as devious but somewhat distraught by his back and forth in time.
Marvel's least evil villain is far from done suffering the consequences of his sometimes rash actions.
Samuel L. Jackson in
Secret Invasion
, on Disney+.
@Disney
The big ovation then came from the “double series” whose stories will be connected:
Secret Invasion
and
Armor Wars
.
Don Cheadle, who embodies Rhodey alias War Machine, in the Marvel universe plays here the pivotal character of the two series.
In the first, we find with some delight Nick Fury, the former boss of the Shield played by Samuel L. Jackson, who must prevent a secret invasion with the help of his Skrull friends.
In Armor Wars, of which no image has been proposed, War Machine should resume service as Don Cheadle suggested.
Both series won't be available until 2023 on Disney+.
On October 7, Marvel will release a Halloween-oriented one-shot titled
Werewolf at night
.
Black-and-white images of a mysterious werewolf and a woman screaming in terror set the mood for this Marvel UFO.
But it is the
Thunderbolts
series that intrigues the most.
We already knew the Avengers and the Eternals, and now a new band of superheroes is joining forces for better and… maybe also for worse.
Leading them are Bucky, aka the Winter Soldier, and Yelena, Natasha Romanoff's sister.
A team completed by the paunchy Red Guardian, the mysterious Taskmaster, the Ghost from Ant-man and the Wasp and finally the US Agent from the Falcon series and the Winter Soldier.

Women in the spotlight at Marvel
Finally, women are honored with two new series.
The first,
Ironheart
, features brilliant MIT student Riri Williams.
As gifted in engineering as Tony Stark, the young woman wants to follow in the footsteps of her model by designing her own combat armor herself.
The second series,
Echo
, is a spin-off of the
Hawkeye
series centered around the character of Maya Lopez, the deaf and mute gang leader.
We should know more about his past but also about his future with the return of the Kingpin, super villain emblematic of Marvel and the appearance of Daredevil.
Enough to cheerfully fill the diaries of your evenings on Disney+ for the 2022-2023 season!
