Fatal accident at work: Construction worker falls from a great height

A 30-year-old fell from a great height on a construction site in Garching.
He succumbed to his fatal injuries in the hospital.
Garching
- A 30-year-old construction worker died in a work accident in Garching last Friday.
As reported by the police, a local resident found the man with severe head injuries around 3:25 p.m. on a construction site on Münchener Strasse.
Several emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident – but any help came too late for the man.
According to the police, he succumbed to his injuries in hospital despite intensive medical care.
The first investigations on site revealed that the 30-year-old had fallen from a great height while working for reasons that are still unclear.
The police are currently ruling out third-party negligence.
The investigations, in particular into the exact cause of the accident, are ongoing.
It is determined by Commissariat 13 (occupational accidents) of the Munich Criminal Police Office.
