The Hama team won the Republic Championship title by challenging physical strength and arm wrestling for men and women, which was held in Hama with wide participation from the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, Aleppo, Sweida, Raqqa, Lattakia and Hama, in addition to the police and army authorities.

In the men's championship to challenge physical strength, in which 35 players participated, Hama player Ali Alloush won first place, followed by police player Muhammad Al-Amir Zidan in second place, while Hama player Adnan Akkad came in third place.

In the general ranking of the governorates, Hama came first with 43 points, then the Police secondly with 12 points, and then As-Suwayda team came third with four points.

In the women's championship, in which 30 players participated, Hama player Hanan Daoud took the first place, followed by Lattakia player Thana Qadar in second place, and then Hama player Bushra Muhammad in third place.

In the general ranking of the women's teams, Hama took the lead with 42 points, then Lattakia with 12 points, while As-Suwayda ranked third with five points.

In the Republic Championship in arm wrestling for men and women, Hama Governorate won the first place in both categories, where it won the men’s championship with 101 points, superior to the second police with 57 points and the third Latakia with 49 points. It also won the women’s championship with 58 points, followed by the police with 46 points, then Aleppo third with 32 points.

The results of the men’s weight championships were won by the players: Mostafa Kassab (65 kg), Firas Jabour (70 kg), Ali Shalish (75 kg), Muhammad Nour Pasha (80 kg), Ammar Rabea (85 kg), Musa Khalifa (90 kg), Mahran Gharra (100 kg), and Tamm Junaid (110 kg). Waseem Alawi, weighing over 110 kg.

The women's weight championships were also won by Rasha Ramadan, 55 kg, Manar Kayali, 60 kg, Marwa Kamal, 65 kg, and Bayan Jadoua, 80 kg.

The head of the Executive Committee of the Hama Sports Federation branch, Abdul Razzaq Zaitoun, said in a statement to SANA that the championship witnessed a large participation from most of the governorates and bodies, and it was of a good level, whether in the physical strength challenge competitions or arm wrestling for men and women, indicating that the Hama team was distinguished in the two championships due to the presence of a lot of Promising materials that have a physique
