Broadcasters are looking for what works!

Requests often vary based on the latest ratings success.

We must not lose loyal spectators while seducing those who would tend to go elsewhere.

The traditional channels say they are looking for comedy while considering it "segmenting" when the policeman is judged to be a safe bet.

What is truly demanded therefore becomes a compromise: “detective comedy” or “police with a light tone”.

Research also goes a lot towards adaptations of novels or comics or of successful foreign series, fictions with celebrities which federate an already acquired public.
