"Israel Hayom" and "Mind Pool" survey: Netanyahu's bloc with 59 mandates, Shaked crashes | Israel today

In three days, the leaders of the parties will submit the lists to the 25th Knesset, where mergers, dissolutions and divisions are on the agenda. 

According to a new poll by "Israel Hayom" and "Mager Mohad", if the elections were held today, Netanyahu would be two mandates away from forming a government, with the bloc led by him obtaining 59 mandates.

If Ayelet Shaked, who separated from Yoaz Handel, had run alone - a party led by her would have won only 0.9%, very far from passing the threshold.

Compared to the previous survey, the Likud increases by three seats, and stands at 33. Yesh Atid, Prime Minister Lapid's party, increases by 6 seats and obtains 23 seats. 

The one who should be worried about the results of the poll is Avigdor Lieberman, because the Yisrael Beytenu party, which he heads, crashes to only 4 mandates and is very close to the blocking percentage.

Lieberman's statements, which were condemned by both the opposition and his coalition partners, may have damaged his status.

Opposite result: union between Meretz and Labor - helps Netanyahu 

In a survey by "Israel Hayom" and "Mager Mehot" we also checked what the election results were and which Meretz and Labor parties are uniting today.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid invited Merav Michaeli and Zahava Galon to his home, and is working to unify the parties they lead, but will this move benefit his bloc, or will it actually achieve the opposite result?

According to the results of the survey, a union between Labor and Meretz yields 13 mandates and places such a party as the third largest.

However, the cooperation between Michaeli and Galon actually raises the bloc led by Netanyahu to 61 mandates and the formation of a government. 

Also, a union between the cruises mainly hurts the "state camp" led by Benny Gantz, which drops by two mandates to 11. 

Bennett's renewed run will hurt Bnei Gantz 

If Naftali Bennett withdraws from his retirement and decides to run in the elections for the 25th Knesset, a party led by him will win 5 mandates.

The main casualty of such a move will be Benny Gantz, when the "state camp" led by him will drop to 10 mandates.

Also, the return of the former prime minister will mean that the Ra'am, Meretz and Israel Beitenu parties will receive 4 mandates each, very close to the dangerous area.
