It was in front of a boiling room that Patrick Dempsey was awarded a Disney Legends Award this Friday, September 9 during D23, the studio's biannual high mass.
This prize, created in 1987 by Roy E. Disney, Walt Disney's nephew, rewards a dozen personalities every two years (technicians, designers, composers, creators of attractions, dubbers, actors, etc.) who have contributed to the works of the Studios Disney during their career.
But one thing especially caught the attention of the public on the spot: the new hair color of the interpreter of Derek Shepherd, the famous surgeon of the series

And for good reason, the 56-year-old actor had totally white hair, with platinum blonde highlights.

Grey's Anatomy
alongside his wife Jillian, who is also at the origin of the haircut of her husband as she revealed in a video at the beginning of September.
"Very honored to become a Disney legend today," wrote the famous "Dr. Mamour."

If Patrick Dempsey has always assumed his white and salt and pepper locks, this is a coloring for the needs of a film.
The actor turns, indeed, in the new film of the realizer Michael Mann entitled
Ferrari

He is about to play the Italian racing driver Piero Taruffi (who died in 1988 at the age of 81) known for having won the Mille Miglia in 1957, the Italian equivalent of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
For this new feature film, the former flagship figure of
Grey's Anatomy
will be accompanied by Penelope Cruz, Adam Driver and Shailene Woodley, as he announced in an interview with
Variety
in April.
We will have to wait until 2023 to see the film on the big screen.
