A 17-year-old boy was indicted and imprisoned on Friday evening after seriously injuring a minor with a knife in a brawl between gangs in Seine-et-Marne, AFP learned Monday, September 12 from the Melun prosecutor's office.

At the end of the day on Wednesday, a fight broke out between around twenty people equipped with knives and baseball bats, in front of the Savigny-le-Temple station, as
Le Figaro
reported .
It opposed young people from this city to others from the town of Mée-sur-Seine.
During this confrontation, "
a 17-year-old minor was stabbed in the abdomen causing evisceration
," a police source told AFP at the time.
Originally from Savigny-le-Temple, the teenager was prescribed a temporary total incapacity for work (ITT) of 90 days, said Béatrice Angelelli.
Six other young people, born between 2004 and 2007, were arrested.
They were released.
Several knives, a hammer and a tear gas canister were discovered near the scene of the brawl.
The investigation is entrusted to the judicial police of Melun.
