Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8th.

After her 70-year reign, her eldest son Charles is the new King of England.

His previous title, Prince of Wales, is passed on to his son William, which automatically makes Kate Middleton the Princess of Wales, succeeding Princess Diana.

In 1969 he was installed at Caernarvon Castle.

His wife Diana became Princess of Wales after marrying Charles in July 1981.
