2022-09-13T15:38:39.311Z

Whether they are joining the programming of the Nocturne rive droite for the first time or inaugurating a new place that they wish to associate with the event, these eight new participants are to be discovered this year.

Nathalie Obadia Gallery

The gallery specializing in contemporary art welcomes the work of the French artist Benoît Maire at the start of the school year.

Resident of the Villa Médicis in 2021-2022, the visual artist presents his third exhibition, "

 Either-Or

", the fruit of his work of maturation during this particular year.

His hybrid canvases, through their multiple references to the pictorial tradition, support a dialogue between art and philosophy, his speciality.

91, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

Gallery G. Sarti

If you are fascinated by the Italian primitives, if the gold backgrounds and the Caravaggesque canvases transport you, the G. Sarti Gallery will seduce you.

Specialized in Italian painting from the 13th to the 18th century, it will present visitors to the Nocturne with an overview of its very rich collections, which some museums envy.

137, rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré.

Virginie Louvet Gallery

The gallery is celebrating its 10th anniversary with great fanfare by inviting its visitors to discover the work of the 32-year-old Colombian painter Stefania Tejada.

Coming from fashion, this artist paints in oil around the themes of nature as a source of life and the power of women, the favorite themes of the gallerist.

Raphael Durazzo Gallery

Former financier Raphael Durazzo moved into a gallery until he opened his own place last April.

After an inaugural exhibition dedicated to post-World War II German artists (Joseph Beuys, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, etc.) and their questioning of identity, the gallery owner may well be addressing the theme of color in art. .

Frederic Roulette Gallery

Installed since 2017 avenue de Messine, the Galerie Frédéric Roulette has more than 30 years of existence.

She claims her support for

“non-aligned artists of the end of the 20th century and the 21st century, singular, embodied, determined”.

Coming from the artistic scene of the 1980s, its creator also takes a strong look at the younger generation.

His catalog includes Jean-Louis Costes, Anne Van der Linden and Emmanuelle Messika.

OA Fine Art

The newly established gallery on rue de Miromesnil takes part in the Nocturne festivities by inaugurating its “

 Human Nature

” exhibition.

It presents the work of its permanent artists, including Émeric Chantier, Gil Bruvel, Nick Veasey and Jisbar.

Photographs, sculptures, paintings... the nuggets of the gallery are to be discovered through a variety of mediums.

Perrotin Gallery and Perrotin Secondary Market

The Parisian art giant joins the evening with a “

 group show

” of 13 artists represented by the gallery.

Among these sizes of art, no less than Jean-Marie Appriou, Johan Creten, Klara Kristalova, Bernard Frize or Xavier Veilhan.

An XXL selection in the image of its catalog of artists for the right bank Perrotin space.

Francoise Livinec Gallery

La Nocturne Rive Droite definitely does things well.

In the case of Galerie Françoise Livinec, it coincides with the opening of its second space in Paris located at 30, rue de Penthièvre, just a few meters from its first gallery.

The inaugural exhibition "

 Moonwalk

" presents a dialogue between the recent works of Loïc Le Groumellec and those of Julie Béasse.

At 24, rue de Penthièvre, this time, a “

 group show

” brings together several international artists, such as Thomas Andrea Barbey, Hur Kyung-Ae and Salvatore Coccoluto.

An enticing program!

Useful information

The program

About forty participating galleries are expected for this edition which will bring together exclusively free events.

Added to this is the presence of a “food truck” and performances by artists.

Enough to make the most of this giant opening, push the doors of unknown places and discover the work of artists in exceptional conditions.

The date

Historically organized in June, the event, which brings together the galleries of the right bank, has taken place for several years in September before the hustle and bustle of the major art fairs and after the summer languor.

This year, appointment is made on Wednesday, September 14 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. to return to the exhibitions and meet after the summer.
