Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the existence of a unipolar world order has become impossible, pointing out that the foundations of this system are seriously cracking.
Russia Today website quoted Peskov as saying today to reporters: We agree and are in harmony with the Chinese comrades in terms of the impossibility of the continued existence of a unipolar world, stressing that such a situation is no longer possible.
Peskov concluded that the foundations of such a system had seriously collapsed and faltered, and a new reality was emerging.
The Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhan Shuo, said during a visit to the Russian State Duma last Friday:
An important area of strategic cooperation between Russia and China is the common opposition to the politics of hegemony, harassment and power in the world.
In another context, Peskov said: The Ukrainian side, according to the available information, is implementing many punitive measures in the Kharkov region, describing it as outrageous.
Peskov added: There are no Russian teachers today in the Kharkov region, confirming the validity of the statement of the Russian Minister of Education in this regard, pointing out that, according to the available information, there are many punitive operations for the population that are not measured by any framework.
