A kindergarten manager and an assistant were arrested today (Tuesday) on suspicion of abusing toddlers at a private daycare center in Eilat.
The police investigation began last week following a complaint received by the Eilat regional police by the mother of a toddler in a private daycare. The report raised suspicions of acts of violence by the kindergarten director and the assistant towards the complainant's son.
Immediately upon receiving the complaint, the investigators began covert and overt investigative operations and gathering evidence and findings.
As mentioned, the 31-year-old suspects were detained for questioning, on suspicion of the offenses of physically abusing a minor and assaulting a helpless minor by a person in charge, in the end they were arrested.
Tomorrow they will be brought before the Peace Court in Eilat for a discussion on their matter.
