After a truck accident in the heart of Nandlstadt: the fire brigade and master craftsmen don't hesitate

A truck driver scraped the bay window of the Oberbräu building in Nandlstadt on Tuesday evening, tearing off parts of the facade.

A truck driver caused an accident in the center of Nandlstadt on Tuesday.
A lucky coincidence came to the rescue during the clean-up work.

– The Nandlstadt fire brigade was called to a somewhat unusual operation on Tuesday evening: the preliminary information was that there was an accident at the Oberbräu bay window.
A truck traveling on Freisinger Straße from the direction of Moosburg had struck the Oberbräu building in the curve area, and the protruding bay window on the upper floor in particular was fatal to the truck driver.

The result: the plaster on the underside of the bay window was damaged, cracked and crumbled.
In order to avert further damage to road users, the fire brigade quickly initiated a diversion via the Zeilerbergstraße and the Bräuanger.
The district master craftsman Martin Reiter (2nd from right) also supported the fire brigade for protection.
He equipped Tobias Stoeber (on the ladder) with the necessary material.

But what should be done with the broken oriel?
Good advice was expensive here.
The accidental arrival of district master craftsman Martin Reiter at the scene of the accident proved to be a stroke of luck.
The master plasterer and drywall builder also had material on board to secure the scene of the accident: foil and professional sealing tape to prevent the ingress of moisture.
The fire brigade ladder was quickly attached to the bay window, on which ex-commander Tobias Stoeber managed the filigree "foil application" at a dizzy height.
After ten minutes the work was done.
Tricky passage for trucks and buses
The arriving police officers assessed the damage and questioned the truck driver about how the accident happened.
To save the man's honor, it must be said that the Oberbräu area next to the curve at Gebhard-Eck opposite the town hall is one of the trickiest traffic zones in Nandlstadt, which only allows larger trucks or buses to bypass by using the lane on the opposite side.
