From mid-September, travelers on many Aida cruises will no longer have to present proof of corona vaccination.
However, the rule has not been relaxed for all routes.
Anyone who is planning a cruise on the Aida in the near future can look forward to a relaxation of the corona measures: on many routes, guests no longer need proof of a corona vaccination for the time being.
The cruise line announced this in a press release.
Cruise on Aida: Vaccination against coronavirus no longer mandatory on all trips
All travelers over the age of 18 are exempt from the "vaccination obligation" if the trip lasts no longer than 15 days.
Instead, all guests aged three and over must present a negative antigen test.
Children and young people under the age of 18 are generally not required to provide proof of vaccination protection.
Vaccination is also not necessary on trips to the Orient if travelers can show a certified negative PCR test or certified proof of convalescence instead.

However, the exemption from proof of vaccination does not apply to all Aida cruises.
Excluded from the easing are trips that last longer than 16 days and the transatlantic trips "From Tenerife to Barbados" and "From Barbados to Tenerife".
Guests over the age of 18 must still be vaccinated here.
From September 17, the shipping company will only consider travelers who have received three individual vaccinations to be fully vaccinated.
Two single vaccinations are sufficient for a recovered person.
Only a valid, digital or printed EU vaccination certificate is accepted as proof of vaccination.
