"Layla" is the summer hit of 2022. But the controversial song by DJ Robin and Schürze keeps causing discussions.
After their appearance on the "ZDF TV Garden" there were even complaints against the hit, which is why the broadcaster has now drawn consequences.
Mainz – For weeks it was discussed whether DJ Robin (26) and Schürze (30) were allowed to perform their mega hit "Layla" in the "ZDF TV Garden" (uncensored).
At the end of July, when they got the audience going wild with the original version on the open-air stage at Lerchenberg, the public broadcaster was celebrated for the campaign.
But the criticism of the song has not ended to this day, which is why the interpreters have now apparently been unloaded from the ZDF New Year's Eve show.

In order to avoid further lawsuits, ZDF decided to uninvite the hit duo from the ZDF New Year's Eve show "Welcome 2023".

Fans of the controversial song still have reason to be happy.
At this year's Wiesn, which will take place from September 17th to October 3rd, "Layla" can be played.
Because the guests, who are familiar with the lyrics, can hardly avoid singing the song themselves.
