The famous astrologer and prophet Michel de Nostradamus (or by his more familiar name Nostradamus) stirred up the world with his predictions that have seemingly come true throughout history - and now commentators believe that they have found in his writings a prediction concerning the future of the British royal family and more precisely - who sat on the throne.

The predictions of Nostradamus are found in his book Les Prophéties, where you will find a collection of 942 poetic sentences that allegedly predict future events - up to the year 3797. He allegedly predicted the outbreak of World War II, the rise of Hitler, the fall of communism, the assassination of President Kennedy, the Great Fire of London, the Twin Disasters , the independence of India and the appearance of the State of Israel on the world map.

Since he is no longer with us, many commentators are digging into his sentences in an attempt to decipher what else he knew that we are not, and a new interpretation published this week managed to disturb many.

The commentary claims that the reign of King Charles III may be particularly short - and that his successor is expected to be not the heir to the throne, Prince William, but rather Prince Harry, although there is another potential contender who may be played by Daenerys Targaryen and steal the kingdom from him.

Author Mario Reading, a leading expert on 16th-century astrology, claims that then-Prince Charles' divorce from Princess Diana and his marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles would lead to widespread dissent that would force the new king to abdicate.

In his book, published already in 2005, the author reinterprets original predictions made by Nostradamus 447 years ago and claims that "a man who never expected to be king" will ascend the throne.

From this he concluded that it would be Prince Harry who would replace him - although he offered another surprising possibility: a man named Australian Simon Durante-Day, who has claimed for years to be the secret son of King Charles and Camilla.

More painful predictions for the royal family:

In his book, Reading used the mysterious sentences written in 1555 to predict the year of death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

He claims that he knew from scripture that the Queen would die in 2022 at the age of 96. He goes on to speculate that the term "King of the Isles", which appears in one of Nostradamus' prophetic writings, means that at the beginning of the reign of King Charles III, a large part of the British Commonwealth will break up, leaving the kingdom limited to the British Isles .

"Prince Charles will be 74 years old in 2022, when he reigns on the throne, but the resentment that exists against him in a certain part of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still continues," Reading claims.

He then claimed that given King Charles' age, the pressure would force him to step down and it would be Prince William who would take his place.

However, after taking another look at Nostradamus' statement that "the man who will succeed him never expected to be king" he concluded that it would not be William.

"Does this mean that Prince William, who is expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture?" Reading wonders.

According to him, if William is not the one to take the royal job, "it will be Prince Harry, with no choice, who will become king in his place. He will become King Henry IX, when he is only 38 years old."

And maybe it will even be the "royal heir" Simon Durante-Day?

Surprised?

Because this is not even the most surprising interpretation of the fateful prediction.

As we noted, Simon Durante-Day, the Australian grandfather who believes he is the secret son of the King and Queen, is also apparently a potential candidate to be King Charles' successor.

Dorante-Day, an engineer by trade, claims that while Charles was 19 and Camilla was 18, they had a torrid affair during which he was born.

According to him, in order not to create a scandal, Camila was removed from the public eye and he was transferred to an orphanage.

"My grandmother, who worked for the Queen, told me directly and many times that I was the son of Camilla and Charles," he said in an interview.

Dorante-Day is so sure of this conspiracy that he even sent official documents to the Queensland court to get answers as to the identity of his father.

The 56-year-old told 7 News Australia: "It's certainly food for thought because the prediction makes it clear that someone unlikely will succeed Charles as king. I can understand why some people would think I'm fit for the job. I believe I'm the son of Ch. Earls and Camilla and I look forward to my day in court to prove it. Maybe Nostradamus has the same understanding as I do, that all of this will come out one day."

Earlier this week, fans of Nostradamus published a claim that Nostradamus warned in his writings that after the death of the Queen, the British royal family would disappear from the map, the new King Charles III would not spend much time on the throne, due to his advanced age, while his successor Prince William is expected to completely give up continuing the monarchy in Great Britain and turn the country into a republic for the second time in its history.
