The dispute between Turkey and Greece continues.
Now two fighter bombers from Erdogan's army have appeared over a Greek island.
Athens - It is the next escalation in the smoldering dispute between Turkey and Greece.
According to the Greek General Staff, two Turkish fighter bombers flew over the inhabited Greek island of Agathonisi in the southern Aegean on Wednesday.

In total, Turkish jets have flown over Greek territory 163 times since the beginning of the year and violated Greek airspace over the Aegean 5,774 times.
The EU has repeatedly condemned such actions by Turkey.

Ankara accuses Athens of illegally militarizing Greek islands in the east Aegean - and is therefore questioning Greece's sovereignty over these islands.
Athens justifies the militarization with the numerous landing craft stationed on Turkey's west coast opposite Greek islands such as Chios, Lesvos and Rhodes, and invokes its right to self-defense.
