The city of Kryvyï Rig, in central Ukraine, is threatened with flooding after a Russian strike damaged hydraulic infrastructure and caused the flooding of a river, the Ukrainian presidency said on Wednesday (September 14th).

At the point of impact, we observe a flow of water of 100 m3 per second, which represents a large volume.
The water level of the Ingulets (the river) changes every hour
,” Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kyrylo Tymoshenko said.
According to him, the center and another district of this city of 600,000 inhabitants are “
under the risk of flooding
”.
“
It's a challenge for all of us, but the situation is under control.
All services are involved to eliminate the threat as quickly as possible
,” he added on Telegram.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a native of Kryvyi Rig, had previously announced a Russian strike that targeted "
hydraulic infrastructure
" there, without causing any casualties.

The governor of the region, Valentin Reznitchenko, for his part mentioned seven Russian Kh-22 missiles fired from a plane, which "
